Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all. This is our first Christmas on the blog and I just want to say thank you. Our growth has been wonderful and I can’t wait to share more with each of you.
I mentioned earlier this month that we were going to travel to Texas for Christmas this year. With the problems at Atlanta airport last week, our flight was canceled. We made a few adjustments and when to the store for some groceries. We had our dinner on Christmas Eve and spent the day exploring the old downtown area where we live.
I had originally planned on making a ham for dinner (before we decided to travel) but when we found out we weren’t going, the ham option was no longer available. So we got a top round roast and made some adjustments to the side dishes we wanted. A very simple menu but everything was delicious.
We spent some of our time out shopping for last minute items that we had planned on buying in Texas and even got a few extra fun things.
Spent the rest of the afternoon and evening watching some of our favorite Christmas movies and drinking hot cocoa. Even some sparkling wine was had by all.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas.
